Building Wealth Together, One Member at a Time — Each for all, All for each.
COMBATANT HEROES (ALAUSA) CO-OPERATIVE MULTIPURPOSE SOCIETY LIMITED is a member-owned cooperative society registered and based in Ikeja, Lagos State, Nigeria. We were founded in the year 1983 and was originally named Lagos State Fire Service Thrift and Credit Society, and was later renamed as Combatant Heroes (ALAUSA) Co-operative Multipurpose Society Limited by ALELAMOLE J. Abiola, Rtd. Asst. Director, Fire Service, due to the policy of Lagos State Government — with a simple vision: to promote the culture of savings, provide easy access to credit, and empower our members financially.
We operate a democratic structure where every member has an equal voice. The society is governed by an elected Executive Council (EXCO) organized by committee from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and supervised by a Board of Trustees. Our operations are guided by the Nigerian Cooperative Societies Act and Lagos State Ministry of Commerce and Industry bye-law for cooperative societies — ensuring transparency, accountability, and fairness.
